Principal's Welcome

Welcome to Divisadero Middle School! We are thrilled to start another exciting school year filled with learning, growth, and new opportunities for all our students. At Divisadero, we hold strong to our C.A.R.E. values: Character, Achievement, Respect, and Effort. These values guide everything we do as we strive to create a supportive and positive environment for our entire school community.

This year, we are focused on making significant academic gains through our commitment to Visalia Unified School District's Tier 1 Embedded Teaching Practices. Our goal is to ensure that every student is actively engaged in their learning and developing the skills they need to succeed.

In addition to our academic focus, we are continuing to prioritize the whole child with our unique daily homeroom program. This program provides students with the opportunity to build a sense of belonging to the school while deepening their relationships with peers and teachers.

Divisadero is a place where all students are learning every day, and we believe that when families and the school work together, our students thrive. We encourage you to join us through School Site Council, the Parent Teacher Association, the Parent Workshop Series, and the many community events we have planned throughout the year.
